Milwaukee to Tampa in April

Driving from just outside of Milwaukee to outside of Tampa in mid April. Using Mapquest to help plan it.

I just checked Mapquest myself and it looks like your trip will take 20 hours and change. Depending on your endurance and/or who you're traveling with, you could do this in two very long days or three pretty comfortable days.

Also, you're going to get a pretty good mix of rural Midwestern terrain and big cities such as Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, and Atlanta.

If you do it in three days, your two overnight stops could be around Indianapolis and Atlanta, which would give you plenty of hotels to choose from and the chance to do some big-city sightseeing. Whatever you decide to do, we wish you a happy road trip!
